I'm ready for winter time. Yes, I just bought some lovely books for crocheting and
knitting projects. And I visited this sweet little shop:
hier. Am Ende musste ich allerdings den Laden fast fluchtartig verlassen, denn sonst wäre mir vermutlich noch mehr Wolle hinterher gehüpft.
It's a wool shop in Dübendorf. To be honest I really had to rush out of the shop for not buying even more wool. I'm kind of an addict.
I took with me this beautiful soft Virgin Wool. It shall become a cap.
And those will end up as a loop.
Those girly balls of wool will get socks. Yes, I know bamboo wool is not very suitable for socks but they won't end up in dark shoes. Nooo, that would really be a pity. They will enjoy bedtime or sitting on a sofa, while the girl who wears them reads a book or just enjoys an evening at the fireplace. Anymore questions? Like how one does knit socks? Honestly? I don't know. Really. But I hope the book I bought and You Tube are going to help, if not the nice shop owner told me, to return when I need help. Isn't that very kind of her? However, I hope it won't be necessary.
But before I can start with my new projects, I need to finish those wrist warmer... yes, girly color again :o). At the end I will sew a little crochet Rose on it... hope it will work. I fear, till I'm finished with all those winter stuff, we've got hot summer again ... uff. And I still got my Granny Crochet blanket unfinished... it celebrated already its first birthday. If you ever find a shop that sells time, please tell me.
But winter seems far away. Temperature reminds more of summer and the colors belong to autumn. So, no snow in sight and the sofa with all that crocheting and knitting projects has to wait a little longer.
But for plants and animals I really wish rain would finally come back to us. The last five month we had only as little rainy days like three or four. Everything is dry and those plates with water are very welcomed by the animals. Well, I had to change them into ceramic once, because fox or marten had bitten the plastic one into pieces. I guess, it had drunken a little bit too much :o).
Did you ever have to water the pond with a watering can? This year I had to do it more than once. Very strange.
With one of my last november Rose (Princess Anne), I wish you all a beautiful and cozy weekend. Enjoy yourself.
