Ready, steady gooooooooo! The first roses have opened their blossoms. Well, most of them I've bought new this year because I've lost many roses through the hard winter. I guess the new once had it cozy and warm during winter and didn't have to fear for their lives... no wonder they flower happily.
This rose here is Anne Boleyn. I guess I have to look for a new place in my garden for this beautiful rose tree. It seems not to like the place on the hot terrace. I hope Anne isn't a sissy.
Im Hintergrund seht ihr übrigens eine der zahlreichen von Raupen zerschredderten Lenzrosen... auch das gehört halt in einen Naturgarten... meinen zumindest die Raupen und freuen sich über ihr Mahl.
In the back you can see the poor Helleborus, they have been munched down by caterpillars. This belongs to a natural garden too... at least the caterpillars seems to believe that and enjoy their meal.

I'm blown away by this newly bought rose here. It's The Ladies Blush. Its fragrance isn't that superb but look at those flowers...
... so sweet and beautiful, don't you think so?
Mary Rose wants to show the new roses, that she can bloom early as well. She is always one of the first to bloom in my garden... she seems to be very curious and anxious not to miss a thing.
I finally became friends with the rose Winchester Cathedral. It grows in my white border and dared to produce a pink rose during the last season. That's an absolute No Go. So we had a serious talk together and now it works with the white flowers. There you are. It's all a matter of communication.

Those chairs are there for a break... but who can sit still, when it blossoms everywhere? Mostly I creep only at the evening into the house... with my back left behind somewhere out in the garden between shrubs and weed. And always I try to convince myself just to sit down, enjoy an ice cream or a glass of wine... and I'm going to do that ... tomorrow or so :o).
Does anybody know the plural for Clematis? We need that term this year, because it seems as if they have liked the cold winter. They flower as if there will never been another summer... I don't hope so.
As every year completely wrong in place... the poppy. But don't worry you won't get eye cancer. Because when the rose saw that color, it was so shocked and decided to wait with opening its flowers a view more days.
That's it for today and the next time I show you what Noah and I are working at.
Well, let's better say that I'm working and Noah is distracting me.
Habt Spass im Garten oder wo auch immer und "häbet Sorg".
Have fun in garden or wherever and take care.
