...with this lovely flower bouquet which I got from my hubby for our wedding day. Yess, Pentecost can start like this :o).
And finally my little white bench arrived. I've ordered it a view days before Easter and now it finally found its way to our home. It isn't made for outdoor, but during summertime it will decorate our entrance anyway.
On Saturday we celebrated my mother in laws birthday in this beautiful water castle in Hagenwil, where my hubby and I were married seven years ago. Smile, happy memories come up seeing it again.
Sorry, this car wasn't for us...
... this lovely bouquet of peonies wasn't for us as well. It was for the wedding couple that was expected at this lovely day. I hope this great castle will bring them us much luck as it did to us.
Don't worry, my dear, Goat isn't on our menu .
But fish was on the card... well, I hope it wasn't this guys job to deliver the fresh fish.
Let's have a look around the castle first.
Did you get hungry on the way? Then let's move to the restaurant.
I can tell you, it was very delicious. In the middle of the risotto they poured sparkling wine as a surprise.
The wooden walls were painted artfully... well, it wasn't exactly my taste and I wouldn't hang it up in my living room, but into this castle it fitted well.
Of course there was a little chapel too, like in every castle.
After I saw this bum I decided to have only one ball of ice cream for dessert.
After this wonderful birthday celebration I change now to something less funny. Look, this is the sad rest of my rambler rose "Paul Transon". The last hard winter nearly killed it.
On 5th June 2011 it looked like this... my heart is really bleeding. The Lonicere nitida balls beneath it were killed too by the frost. Now I planted herbs like thyme, rosemary, lavender and sage because the soil is very dry there.
Back to more joyful things. This beautiful aquilegia walked by itself into my garden... I didn't plant it nor did I sow it. I hope it likes my garden and stays for a while.
I love Aquilegia. They look so sweet and remember me of dance skirts from little elves.
Because we are already in the garden, let's walk a little bit further on. Yikes... somebody must have been hungry... the tracks betray the perpetrator, it must have been a snail.
At least this flower managed to survive the snail attack. The color of the Clematis Multi Blue is especially in the evening hours gorgeous but hard to catch with the camera.
Poppy is one of my favorite plants. But... with the Welsh Poppy I make an exception. It may stay in my garden even when I don't like its yellow color. But if you're not very quickly in removing its seed capsule it feels like taking over the whole garden. So it happens that in the middle of the White Border a little yellow flower is sticking its head out. Or in the border with the red and pink roses, this yellow poppy likes to show itself of.
But I can't wait to see this poppy bloom. It really looks very promising, doesn't it?
Allium belongs in a May/June garden too. Whether in blue or...
...white doesn't matter at all. They are all real beauties.
Noah likes to show you what he thinks about Pentecost. It's just great! A roll to the left and a roll to the right...
... then stretch a little and have a glimpse whether Lady Gwundergarten can be persuaded to give a good belly rub.
After that having a little work out at the favorite scratching tree.
Dann geht's auf die Pirsch.
Then he's ready for every adventure that is coming by.
He has got everything under control...
... even if it is only a little blue petal, that's falling down and shows that the time of the Aquilegia is nearly over like Pentecost.
Have a nice start tomorrow into the short working week.
En liebe Gruess / Take care
