This wild creature really looks dangerous.
But when it stands still for a moment, Snoopy is harmless. He somehow remember me on those little teddy bears from Star Wars. I guess this sweetie won't have to wait long for a new home but I prefer it a bit bigger...
... like this for example. This guy is called Pascha. This great dog I would have loved to hide in my handbag and to take home with me... ehm, yes, I've got big handbags *LoL*... as big as Paschas heart. He belongs to the genus gentle giant. At the begin he barks at people, he doesn't like it when you move directly at him and he prefers a bit more distance for get to know you. So I left him enough space, moved away from him, made myself small and waited until he came to me. It didn't last long before he sniffed at my hand and at the end he lay beside me, with his belly up for a good belly rub. After that I made the picture.
"Here's looking at you, kid." Geri, our little macho. He loves being cuddled without end and... ehm... to shag his pillow. I guess it's time for snip snap, little man.
In the rain everybody looks the same... no, that's not me the photographer (even when we really look similar in this weather.). This soggy dogy is called Boni. She's already made an appointment with the hairdresser and will soon look really lovely, believe me.
Dacki too is waiting for a new owner. This elderly dachshund seems not have had a nice life until yet. But she's such a happy fellow...
... who can hardly be stopped when her beloved ball is around. She's a real sweetheart.
Still shy but beautiful is Djoni. I don't know his story yet, but you will soon be able to read it on the Strubeli Homepage. At the moment the homepage is under construction and looks strange, but I guess tomorrow it should be better.
From shy Djoni to self-confident and gorgeous Ares. This happy guy has already found a new home and only wait to get picked up by his new master. I wish you a happy and wonderful life, Ares.
Do you remember Emil? I showed him to you before in another post. This old cat boy found a new home but was sadly brought back to the shelter. But the story found its happy end anyway. Emil may stay now at the shelter as a free cat. He may go in and out the house like he wants (the photo is made while he was laying on the cat tree in front of the rabbit enclosure), gets a lot of cuddling from the staff and visitors, has a lot of good food and a big field to chase mice. He's really happy and satisfied like this.
Those two have also found their new home in the animal shelter as free cats.
Chnobli (that means garlic), is still looking for a new home. Who did this poor cat give that strange name?!
A gentle little soul has this cat called Susi. She's so sweet, so fine, she really let hearts melt like butter in the sun. While I stroked her little paw she put it very softly on my hand... and with that she won me immediately. Her earlier owner has died and her cat mate was at the VET during the photo shooting. Susi is looking for a new place together with her mate... that's too much for my two men (hubby and cat Noah) who believe that our house is full... else I would have brought them home with me.
I don't know what Prince has been up to, but with this look he must have made something :o). With those beautiful blue eyes he won't have to stay long in the shelter, that's for sure.
No, don't worry, Shiva isn't a predator... well, maybe a little one :o). I must have bored her to death, that's why she yawned like that.
I guess, Shiva would have had more interest in Picchu, the little white rat, who is also looking for a new home.
A bad eye and a heart full of fear... both can be healed but it would go quicker for Gracy in a real good home. She's a beauty, isn't she? And with her red fur as a female rather rare.
Amur knows that he's a real beauty but he's not bitchy. A great guy, who sure won't have to stay long in the shelter. I guess, he will be out before I can post his name here. In the shelter too, beautiful creatures have it easier than the one with beautiful souls who may not look that pretty at first. So I tell it again and again: have a closer look. It's worth it.
Have all a lovely and cozy Sunday!
