I know, it's just April and we know that the weather can change in this month rapidly. But this was absolutely tooooo much! Last saturday afternoon it looked like this in my garden. So I took my magic stick (the one who lays just beside my witches broom) and whispered some magical words...
Much better, isn't it?
I knocked at the door of this burgundy snail to tell him that the snow has gone and he can come out again. I love burgundy snails... well not on my plate *ieeeek*, but in my garden. That's the reason why I hardly use slug pellets. This year I even try it without them... maybe it is sufficient collecting the slugs together and bring them up into the wood. Yes I know, I'm nuts.
Chacheli Macheri erstanden.
This sweet bird cage I bought by Mrs Chacheli Macheri. I guess I will put a little pot of ivy into it.
And this is the basket from which the birds were picking their food during winter time.
Luckily the snow didn't hurt my tree peonies. Because this one grows since three years in my garden and it would flower for the first time. I saved it from a supermarket and I can't wait to see finally its violet flowers (still can't believe that they should be violet... we will see)
This is all that is left from the snow. Hehe... that's fine, isn't it?
In the sun even work makes fun again.
Überall blüht's wieder.
Everywhere are flowers.
Even my little daffodil islands in the lawn have survived the snow... well they look a bit weary and tired but they stand straight like little warriors.
Stopp... sorry, we have to make a break because somebody needs immediately a good belly rub.
No words needed.
Okay, now we can go on on our garden tour.
Finally! I waited for days that the star magnolia finally starts to bloom.
And this morning was the day of the days.
Oh, Noah has some guests *LoL*. Because of the lovely weather they decided to look around in our garden.
This was my first try with felting... I guess I will carry on because it was real fun knitting those cats.
Now I've got to get back into the garden it is calling my name... for weeding... hmm, but I'd prefer being lazy in the sun. We will see who wins.
