This birdie here and...
... his mate have booked an all-included holiday-package with me :o).
A delicious buffet is one of the things that belong to an all-included-package. Here they munch some currants... okay the table manners could use a bit of improvement. However I love to watch them and I guess other neighbours are wondering what I am doing in the house of my neighbours for such a long time. Really, I'm just watching the birds and play the entertainer for them. I mean they deserve a bit of amusement when they have to live behind bars, don't they? So I don't mind being their buffoon.
This little fellow has a better life. He can join the open-air buffet before flying away happily and singing a song from the spruce top.
Glücklicherweise hat der rote Tiger davon nichts mitbekommen. Er ist nämlich gerade unabkömmlich und sehr beschäftigt *schnarch*.
Luckily the red tiger didn't notice it. He is very busy at the moment and can't be disturbed.
Did you recognize too, how fast the fall flowers are getting to bloom this year? In my opinion we claim to enjoy first the missed spring, before anyone is allowed to take the word "fall" into its mouth.
But nobody asks me... that's why the first hydrangeas are already in bloom.
This little insect must feel like on its own little sun. What a firework of colours. But I don't really like this shrilly orange and I didn't plant the lily... it is from the previous owner.
Even a butterfly needs from time to time a parasol.
This perennial clematis has not only its own sun hat, no it has a very lovely fragrance.
I nearly gave up with vicia in my garden. I love the sweet little flowers of them but I sow them so many times without success that I already accepted to live without them. But at a plant market I decided to give it a last try but this time with a seedling. With little hope but good soil I planted it into a washtub and put it onto my balcony. Well, what shall I say, it seems to work.
It even seems to like it that much that it flowers in two different colours. And one thing is now for sure, it won't be the last vicia on my balcony.
News from the workshop: After destroying another plate from Rosenthal by trying to get a hole into it, I was more successful with this English dishes. I would decorate this etagere with fruits like grapes, raspberry etc.
Yes, that's English too... a bit quirky, but I like quirky :o).
And this is how it looks at the moment. More about that I'm going to tell you another time. Have a lovely summer day!
