EM der anderen Art / EM of a different kind
Recently the European Championship in athletics were held in Zurich. So the animals in the Zurich Zoo wanted to join the games. First of all the chameleon at the horizontal bar. What a champ.
Ups, the lemur is stuck in the branches while he did the high jump.
In the category climbing this guy here is the absolut champ. Well, some say that he manipulated the games by wearing those suckers at his feet.
Waaaaah, can't watch my friend doing his deadly performance at the trapez. Well, he must get high points at the B-note, I guess.
If he falls down, he belongs to me *hehe*.
An den Elefant und los!
Now we come to the category "weight lifting". Are you ready, little one?
On your marks and go!
This was easy peasy, have you seen it? I lifted her about 5 cm from ground.
High concentration under the Squirrel Monkeys. "I am thinking, therefore I am." - "Mister Nilsson, you're going to miss your contest!"
On your marks, get set, go!
I'm against this stress!
Meet the referee. "If you cross the line, I peck out your eyes!"
Of course there were onlookers on such an important event.
Well, not everybody was let in. There was a face control.
Some did everything for paying only one ticket.
Oh look, how exciting this is!
It is so exciting that some nearly forgot to eat ... well, at least nearly.
When the animals were told that they were sadly not allowed to join the European Championship, simply because most of them aren't European, they get red in anger.
So sorry for them. But at least I had a lovely girls day in the Zoo with my friend Mrs Chacheli-Macheri. Thank you for that great day out, it was so much fun even when we nearly choked eating this dust dry plum cake *LoL*.
Habt alle ein schönes Wochenende / Have a great weekend
