Okay, somebody seems to be here. You want to know, why I look so tired? Well, then let me tell you, why Mrs Gwundergarten had to make a blogging break, although she had always nagged on me, how much she is missing you guys.
First of all, there was an Easter brunch to be prepared...
... followed closely by the deadline of her second novel "A ticket to Scotland". In Mai this eBook has sold over 800x... Mrs Gwundergarten looked at the numbers in her computer with eyes as big as chicken eggs before she started to make strange movements which she called dancing... after that, it started to rain... so it wasn't my fault. By the way, she said, I shall say thank you to all the readers in her name. She gave me a big hug instead of you... be grateful.
Again: After that, crochet needles, sewing machine and many more things, didn't rest at all, because Mrs Gwundergarten got ready for her market. Phiew... you should have seen that chaos.
Oh, sorry, I was distracted because my food was just enjoying a bath.
After the market, Mrs Gwundergarten had to take care of her jungle or so called garden, that has started to bloom in the meanwhile. This, she says, is a peony... who cares.
... a rose... so what???
And this was the view from the kitchen... she says... as if anyone would pay attention to that.
And then Mrs Gwundergarten really left me alone just to go on such a silly garden show, as if she wouldn't have enough flowers in her garden. I don't understand humans. Oh gosh, now she wants to take over again.
Okay, geschafft.
Thanks, Noah, for your lovely comments *grmpf*, I'll take over now. Give me the keyboard... no, take your claws out of my hand! Uff, got it. Okay, where did my naughty tomcat finish? Oh yes, my husband surprised me on my last years birthday with tickets to the Chelsea Flower Show 2015. Gosh! I was really very moved, when we went through the entrance. I had chicken skin and had to fight against tears. Never ever would I have imagined to visit the Chelsea and now I was standing in the middle of it. We went early in the morning, so that we could really enjoy all the gardens in peace, before it got too crowded.
More about this show, you will read in the next Schweizer Garten magazine, who will publish my article about it. Don't worry, if you don't get the magazine, I will report about the Chelsea in this blog too.
Of course we enjoyed the City a little bit longer. What an amazing city! Jittery, loud, funny, fascinating and simply intoxicating.
Only a short time after that we had a celebration waiting for us. In this gorgeous scenery my Mom celebrated her 70th birthday. What a incredible day, full of lovely moments, unforgettable chats, cheerful laughter and great food. And then?
Then I left my poor tomcat alone again. But if my longing for him got too heavy, I had this one for cuddling. Yes, Noah, I know, you are the lovelies tomcat on earth, but little Arthur is quite charming too. Ouch, don't bite me!
This was the view from the cottage in Herefordshire. Pure nature and peace. Heaven on earth.
I sat for the first time in a canadian canoe and...
... visited stunning gardens, met incredible kind people and ...
... the time went far too quickly by. When I look back, I can just say: Wow, what a great time I had. My head is still spinning and my heart beats like crazy when I think back on the last few months. Of course there were not always sunshine during my blog free time, but that's life. The beautiful moments, I just mentioned above, are shining like pearls on a string. I take care of them and keep them on the safest place I can imagine: in my heart.
I'm happy to be back and hope you haven't all forgotten about Noah and me in the meanwhile. However, next time I tell you more about our holidays in Herefordshire ... and yes, you can get sunburned in England :o).
Häbet e gueti Zyt / Take care
