We don't need a lawn mower, as long as we've got Noah.
I'm boooooored! It's so boring to just sit all alone here.
Helloooo? Am I nobody? I'm sitting on your nose, you peasant! Tse!
While the last crocus are in flower ...
and spring is taking control of my garden ...
… something sad happended as well. One afternoon I found a little hedgehog tumbling around. He was much too small and thin. I tried it with feeding, which he accepted, but it wasn't enough… he was too weaken.
At the end I took him to the VET, but they couldn't help him either and had finally to put him to sleep after two further days. Very sad, but at least he didn't have to suffer for longer. However, there are four more hedgehogs in my garden. Three of them are not bigger than my hand, but luckily they seem to be fit. The fourth is so fat, that we call him Al Capone. It's so nice to watch them in the garden. I'm hoping that I will have less slugs this year. We will see.
I cleaned the Hedgehog house and put in some new straw. I'm wondering whether we will have baby hedgehogs this year. That would be lovely.
The wild plum is in flower and attracts many insects.
And he is doing his rounds again to have everything under control. He looks quite bossy, don't you think so?
Whether in the meadow or ...
… in the woodland garden, I love the Fritillaria meleagris.
Well, Helleborus I love as well.
Okay, here it got a little bit out of control. But I haven't planted them, and they multiply by themself.
Typical heralds of spring for me are also the violets.
And while I keep you up to date here, Noah is already collecting the ticks. Grrrrr.
Have a nice and relaxing weekend. Take care.
