Achtung, fertig, los! / Ready, steady, go!
The Countdown to our Easter Brunch runs. The Prosecco is already put cool. Finally I found a good use for all that snow :o).
Nein, ich liiiiiebe es, Gäste zu bewirten und je mehr umso besser... die Grenze setzt alleine unsere kleine Stube (mein Mann atmet hörbar erleichtert auf *kicher*).
Of course our guest only come to us because of my hubby and me ;o). But I guess, if we would feed them only with this, we would very quickly sit all alone with our bunnies at the Easter brunch table *LoL*. And who could blame them. So no, that doesn't work and I really love to have guests... the more the better, the only limit is our small living room (I can hear my hubby sigh deeply out of relief *smile*).
So today I had to stir in some pots. This will become...
... that. Well, to be honest, it became a bit dry... like a desert storm... but there is Prosecco to wash it down. :o)
This is called a Elderflower Tiramisu and tomorrow it will get a Finish with white chocolate shavings and maybe a little dark chocolate bunny out of chocolate powder (as if I could do such a thing...).
Natürlich gibt es noch viele Leckerein mehr, aber ich zähle jetzt nicht alles auf, sonst steht Ihr am Ende auch noch vor der Tür und so gerne ich Euch habe, die gute Stube ist voll bis unters Dach :o).
But this I can: bake my own bread. This includes potato, walnut and sunflower seeds... yammi. Well, before I call it yammi, I should better taste it. But if there will be any death among my guests because of the bread (what I really don't hope!) I'm sure you're gonna hear it. :o). Of course there are many delicious things more on the buffet, but I'm not gonna tell you everything, else you will be standing in front of our door too tomorrow. And as much as I like you, we're completely full, right up to the roof. :o)
The deco is finished too. I love planted tureens/soup bowles. In second hand stores you'll find wonderful bowls and tureens for such occasions.
And we are washed and cleaned :o) for our guests.
The Easter Nests were ready too... . Grmpf, Noah! I hope you haven't laid yourself on the Easter bunny and eggs! Naughty cat!
Okay, then Easter can come, we are ready! I'm really looking forward to it. By the way, that lovely basket with the lamp was a present from my employer. I'm working there for ten years. Huuuu, how time runs fast, unbelievable!
I love that basket, it fits perfectly into my garden and is absolute my taste. Thanks again!
And now Gandalf has the final word: "Ehm, well... hmm, forgot the lines... ah, yes now I remember: I wish you all a lovely Easter and don't eat too many Easter bunnies... the chocolate once are threatened with extinction ... really! So think at my words when you break away the ears of such a poor creature the next time."
Gandalf always gets a bit pale at Easter... I guess he fears for his own ears. So don't take him too seriously and enjoy those chocolate bunnies. Easter is only once a year :o).
