Geplündert / Plundered
Easter is over, the buffet plundered...
...the last spoon of elderflower Tiramisu gone,
... the tables cleared again. Not only remain some more pounds on the scale but beautiful memories to a homely Easter Sunday too.
The reason I didn't post for nearly a week was a short trip to my parents. Thank you two again for pampering me :o). Oh well, the bags probably tell you what my mum and I did:o). Yes we plundered some shops.
Home Shop in Aarau unsicher.
First we plundered the Home Shop in Aarau. I will probably sew some shopping bags from this cloth. After the Home Shop we of course had to see the rest of the city Aarau.
Chacheli-Macheri eingelegt.
Then we made our way to the Chacheli-Macheri. This funny owl just wanted to come with me into my gwundergarten. Now it can watch over the bunnies and Mr. Tomcat. Thank you so much, dear Caro for the delicious apple pie and the lovely cup. My mum and I loved your shop and the things you do. You're an amazing person and I'm happy that I met you in the internet :o).
Jacob Markt in Zollbrück.
Next day we went to the Jacob Markt in Zollbrück. If you are a crafts woman you really have to visit that shop. The choice of fabrics, wool and thousands of other things is amazing. Of course some fabrics went with me.
You want to know what I'm going to do with that one? Cherry pit cushions of course. Because before my mum and I left for the short trip home..
... we fixed some of them.
I can't stop sewing them. And if you tend to freeze there is nothing better then such a hot cushion, believe me.
After this trip my head is full of new ideas and I really would love to start with them.
But spring has finally arrived (don't worry I'm not complaining about it). Well, the weather is not on the sunny side, but who cares. It's time to prune the roses... as you know I just got one or two of them *LoL*. I was for some hours in the garden and just managed a third of them. Winter hasn't been kind to my ramblers I hope they are going to bloom anyway... I had to cut them back hard.
May I introduce to you the two bunnies who probably will survive the massacre of chocolate bunnies as the only one. They are just two cute to murder them. Let's see how long I can withstand them.
Now I wish you all a cozy evening (By the way: My tomcat Noah hasn't learnt to share as you can see... he doesn't bother if anyone else would like to use the bed... nope, it's just his... well, good night then).
