Nein, keine Sorge, nicht Noah hat's erwischt mit dem Pfnüsel (=Schnupfen) und Co. sondern "nur" mich.
Oh no, don't worry, it isn't Noah, who had caught a cold... just me.
It's a cold with all the unpleasant ingredients and now I do this what I always tell others to do (especially my hubby, who of course never listens to me :o) ) and for myself usually don't use: Inhale. Yes, I know it probably helps... especially others... but it is sooooooo boring! But under the eyes of my hubby I had to go through it... at least as long as he is watching me.
This embroidered towel I made over twenty years ago... yes, I know, one can see its age :o). It was one of the first motiv I cross stitched and it was by then that I thought it was worth to give needle and thread another try.
But I'm getting off the topic. I wanted to tell you about this book "Brit-Chic at its best". It's a sewing book I bought lately. Because of the rather wet weather in UK (well the Brits really can nothing do about that but at least they got lovely gardens because of this reason too) I guess the title of this posts fits rather well without wanting to insult anybody. That I bought this book and now have a cold has (probably) nothing to do with each other :o). Oh, you'd like to have a glimpse into the book? Okay...
... it contains lovely sewing ideas for bags and other higgledy piggledy things... I really love it :o).
But it even contains a recipe for Scones. Mjamm... I love them with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
With the help of that book I sewed some purses for the mobile.
And if you are wondering "Well, at last Alex has entered the new epoche!" Ehm, nope, I just kidnaped the mobile of my hubby.
This little cushion has nothing to do with Brit-Chic. It's filled with cherrystones. I don't know if abroad one knows those cushions too. We put them into the oven or into the microwave to make them hot, after that you can warm your bed with them or put it on a hurting spot on your body. It's something our grandmothers already did.
I just finished this leather-stone-wristwrap. So but now I should better go under a warm cover again. Luckily I'm not alone.
"Noah, I first want to see your paws. Only clean paws are allowed to hop into my bed. Well... could be better."
As if he would care about my opinion. Of course I had some company by my little messy tomcat. :o)
Und mein Liebster hat mir auch noch Vitamine besorgt, ist er nicht der beste?! Vorallem Vitamin SR (=Schlagrahm) soll sehr gesund sein *lach*.
And my hubby brought me some vitamins. He's spoiling me. I guess especially the cream is very, very, healthy *LoL*.
So, Ihr Lieben, ich hoffe, die Viren haben sich nicht doch durch das Computerkabel zu Euch geschlichen. Habt ein gemütliches Wochenende.
I just hope the virus hasn't found the way through the computer cable to you so that you can enjoy another lovely weekend.
