Ferien / Holidays
Holiday, finally! Hurra! Guess where I am? I'm in a country, where the red ruffed lemur is living.
Where big Madagaskar day geko is climbing on trees,
... where you could beat your way free with a machete like Indiana Jones,
... where a pirogue is waiting for a romantic tour (forget the crocodile behind the next bend in the river)
... where Tarzan is waiting under the waterfall. But no, I didn't swing myself on a vine to him... just remember, I'm not Jane.
We were ignored by Madagascar Ibis and...
...observed by a chameleon.
The female chameleon wasn't interested in us at all.
And because I love its colour I just show you another Madagascar day geko.
Oh yes, and there are flying foxes. Aren't they just cute? They just seem to say "I keep my coat very close, it's so cold here."
I find it very comforting, that they eat fruits... so forget the thing about Dracula and other horror stories.
Weavers are living at this place too. Where am I?
To make it a bit more difficult, there are monkeys too...
... and camels (and no... my hubby hasn't exchanges me (yet))...
... and chickens. I haven't any clue what kind of chicken this is but I really would love to cuddle it. It looks so fluffy.
Na, habt ihr herausgefunden, wo ich bin?
And? Did you find out where I am?
LoL, I'm still in Switzerland. We visited last weekend the Zurich Zoo, where we were able to join a guide through the Masoala hall. That was great fun!
In the Pantanal we met those two creatures. A Capybara was sceptical watched by a Tschaja.
Better you get off, little one.
Wuuuaaaah... off you go.
And if you believe, that now he is just flirting with his partner,
...then I'm sorry to disappoint you. Our "How sweeet" just turned into an "Ouch". What a stupid bird to pick so hard.
Yes, you can smile about that, Mr. Shoebill. I love those birds, even when I know now from the BBC serie "Africa" that they can be rather mean. Well, I guess, animals are just only human :o).
Ich hoffe, jetzt dann wieder etwas mehr Zeit zu haben um in euren Blogs zu stöbern. Freue mich drauf.
But now I hope that I will find more time to visit your beautiful blogs. Looking forward to it.
Habt es gut / Have a great time.
