If you believe that those beautiful Helleborus nigers are growing in my garden I have to upset you, sorry. I just bought them a few weeks ago. Usually only Helleborus orientalis seem to like my garden, I haven't been successful yet with the nigers. Well, maybe this one will survive.
Moss seems to enjoy growing in our garden. We have more of it than we would like... especially in the lawn.
Galanthus elwesii... still all alone in flower. Can't wait until the other varieties of snowdrops start to flower.
There is still a little bit of snow on the sempervivum chair.
Because I haven't got more flowering things to show you in my garden, I show you now the real flowers of the winter: the birds. There is still a lot going on at the birds feeding station. Sometimes I can't believe that I use a 5 kg bag of food for them per week. Well, sometimes there are about 30 birds at the same time at the feeding station. To avoid stress, I've made several feeding points there and they seem to get along with that very well. Haven't seen much of fights.
The one in the monkey suit is here again.
Some try to ignore me by showing me their back.
Here you can see the immense difference in size between the coal tit (left) and the Great tit.
Well, somebody seems to be too heavy.
And here my favorite bird, the Eurasian Nuthatch. He doesn't appear often at the birdfeeder.
Isn't he just elegant?
But I'm sweet too, you're so unfair.
Now I have to eat to defeat my frustration.
Okay, I like the chaffinch too, but look at this stylish Eurasian Nuthatch... he just is a beauty. Well, Noah says that he prefers the inner values *cough*.
Habt eine gute Woche!
Have a great week!
