As promised, today I'm showing you the honorable ladies and gentlemen from my garden and I try not to talk too much, so that you can just enjoy the lovely roses. Off we go:
Nochmals Princess Anne, die alte Streberin.
Again Princess Anne, isn't she a beauty?
Fimbriata, eine Nelkenrose.
Fimbriata, a rose that flowers look like carnations.
Hurry up, Mrs Gwundergarten, the roses nearly faded until you finally pushed on the trigger.
Gertrud Jekyll, lovingly called Trudchen.
Scarman's Himalayan Musk, is the first rambling rose in flower in my garden this year.
This is the same rose. I'm sorry, but I didn't manage to catch the right color of it, the sunshine made it fade a little bit. You should smell its fragrance, it's so lovely. There are still many buds and I guess it will flower for another 4 to 5 weeks *hurra*.
The first flower of Paul Noel, which grows as a tree in my garden. It suffered from mildew this year and didn't like the wet weather conditions.
Miranda. Her flowers always look a bit disheveled but I love them.
Could you hand over a rose, please? Here you are, the Munstead Wood.
This is so booooring. Mrs Gwundergarten has nothing else in her mind, than her roses... tse tse tse.
Anne Boleyn, sie wächst bei mir als Hochstämmchen.
Anne Boleyn, she grows as a rose tree too.
Neu eingezogen ist die Scepter d' Isle.
Just moved into the Gwundergarten has the David Austin Rose Scepter d'Isle.
Also new in my garden is the rose Pat Austin. I had her very long on my wish list and now she's here :o).
"Hi, mom... we are on TV!" Sorry, my dear geranium, this is just a photo camera, you can lean backwards again. But isn't that combination from blue geranium and Pat Austin an eyecatcher?
Sophies Rose. She was ailing last year but seems to have gained some strength again.
Winchester Cathedral. It should flower white but...
... growing already in a white border it decided to flower in rosé *grmpf*.
Therefore I can only wish this rose beetle, who enjoys breakfast at the Winchester, "bon appetit". Enjoy your meal, mate!
Ja, das findest Du natürlich wieder lustig, Noah. Sehr, nett, wirklich, sehr nett.
Yes, I know, Noah, this you find very funny. You're so kind, indeed.
A quick look into the white border... there are some white flowers in it, indeed, even when others try to boycott it.
And because my little red tiger is fed up with roses, I just show you some other garden impressions. Clematis Silver Moon.
Peony. I don't know its name, because it was planted by the previous owners of the garden.
Planted by me, but I don't know its name anyway. It wasn't labeled when I bought it.
What is the plural from Allium? Alliums? Alien? What ever :o) I like them.
But my favorite flower at the moment is the poppy Patty's plum. I just adore this color.
Well, and I thought I am the flower of her life *sigh*.
Räusper, dem gibt es wohl nichts mehr hinzuzufügen, ausser dass wir beide Euch eine rosige Woche wünschen.
Cough... well, I guess, I can't say something clever (comment Noah: as if she could ever) on that so we just wish you a rosy week. Have a great time.
