It was a double rainbow that I caught with my camera. Well, please do ignore the little white and blue mobile WC *smile*.
The thundershower was warmly welcomed in my garden.
Everything looks so clean and fresh again. We had a 33 degree and this in June! What do you think of that, Noah?
If you come any closer with your camera, I gonna show you what I think of that.
Well, okay, better go back to the freshly washed flowers in my garden. The Lions Rose.
Das nenn ich doch mal eine Glockenblume.
That's what I call a real bellflower.
And here you can see its full height. It is called Campanula Sarastro. I planted it only some weeks ago, I guess it will grow much bigger. I'm very fond of its big blue blossoms.
From all my roses, the rose Ladies Blush is my favorite at the time. It is so healthy, even when growing in a pot. I haven't found the right place in my garden, so it has to stay in the pot.
But look at its flower, so fine and tender. To be honest, when I blush, my face isn't of that soft rosé color... it's more like the red of a tomato... well, maybe that is the reason why I'm no lady *smile*.
Another beauty: Francis E. Lester. It's a rambling rose, that may take over my rose arch, which at long last seems to work.
Francis companion at the rose arch is this dark blue clematis. I'm not sure that this will enjoy the eye... I will have to wait until next year when they finally grow into each other.
Rose Penelope grows since many years in my garden. I like her fragrance and the soft color. It grows more in the width than in the height.
Planted with Alchemilla it is for me pure romance. Yes, I know, I'm a bit kitschy... which worries my hubby a lot. *LoL*
The White Fairy
Charles de Mills in its first year. I love it already. What a color and what a fragrance. I hope it will have a long and healthy life in my garden.
Rose Uetersen in combination with rose multiflora, and it really has multi flowers... gosh.
Pat Austin is shining over the dark blue geranium... but it still has to grow a bit, it only stands in the first year.
Meanwhile my little orange bunny has a better mood. Well, then let's start into the weekend.
I wish you all a lovely week and enjoy the rose fragrance, I guess it won't last for ever, unfortunately.
En liebe Gruess / Take care
