FleugZeug und mehr / Flying things and more...
"Is she talking about us?" - No, of course not. If so, I would have chosen the title "cheeky chatterboxes".
Today, this flying thing flew over my head, it's the Ju-Air. We call it here auntie Ju and I was once a passenger in it. To be honest, I was rather glad, when it reached safe ground again and I was able to leave it. We had a difficult weather that made the plane jump from one air hole into the other. God, I really felt sick.
Another flying thing: a dragon fly. I was just cutting back the daylily beside the pond, when I noticed this beauty here. I probably cut back its leaf stem, where it waited until its wings were dry. Sorry about that.
I guess, it just hatched from little monster to a real beauty.
I helped it up to another plant stem, so that it could wait there until it was ready to take off.
If you turn the photo upside down, the dragon fly just looks like auntie Ju, don't you think so?
This leopard slug seems to be the pet of my bunnies. Since weeks it is living in their hutch. Every Saturday, when I clean the hutch, I put this slug somewhere else in the garden and everytime it gets back to the bunnies.
But now, I hope, I have found the place, where this leopard slug will stay hopefully forever: the compost. Leopard slugs munch other slugs, so it is good to take care of them.
"Really, the leopard is finally away?" - "Well, at least I hope so ... but it was only a leopard slug not a real leopard, Gandalf."
Tse, er wird es nie lernen.
"Hey, Emma, did you hear it? We get rid off this leopard, so I can come down again *uff*."
Hey, Noah, would you like to join me on a tour the garden?
Disturbance all the time ... well, if it makes her happy, I traipse with her through the garden. What ever Madam wishes ... grmpf, grmpf, grmpf...
As I mentioned before it is the time of the hydrangeas. This one is the You & Me.
And this is just a very common Hydrangea macrophylla.
This is the Hydrangea macrophylla variegata. It has variegated leaves.
Huuuuuaaah! One should never get too close to a flower, one can never know, who is already sitting there and waiting for lunch. Sorry, I'm off.
My little Endless Summer. Unfortunately it has fallen apart in the middle during the last days of rain.
Just another perspective.
And this is how the photo was made.
Great little brother: it's the rose Brother Cadfael. There are still some roses in flower ... not many, but at least some.
Even on the spiraea are some flying things :o).
Gosh, I'm getting hungry looking at this basil. I better go into the kitchen and make a tomato mozzarella salad ... so have a lovely and delicious weekend. Take care!
