What a day for a daydream ... to continue with song titels. However, it is getting hot and therefore I caught my mushroom basket and ...
... had a nice walk into the cool wood.
A little snack on the way.
Walking along the meadow, where easily William Shakespeare Midsummer Night's dream could have played. I walk on into the direction of my special mushroom place in the wood.
Oh, oh ... felled trees ... that makes me a little bit worry. I love wooden furniture and I also love to have a warm butt during winter times, but somehow I feel sorry for the trees ... yes, I am a girl.
But what I really was worried about was this: my place, where I always found summer cep, was destroyed.
Gone ... it really makes me sad, because here no cep will dare to put his head out of the soil ... I would neither.
What was left over was this...
... and this here ...
... and that one. Looking at those things I really get grumpy. Why do we have to leave our rubbish everywhere? Didn't they have any upbringing?! Grmpf.
However, somebody left behind beautiful things too.
I love those carvings ... and where would this owl better fit in than into the middle of the woods?
And then I found them ... just a little bit further on at another one of my places.
This is enough for the two of us, so let's go back.
... hungry butterflies,
... beautiful herbs,
... large corn fields,
... almost ripe cornfields,
... freshly mowed meadows ... mhhhhh, can you smell the beautiful fragrance of the hay? This is summer pure, isn't it?
Oh look, there is somebody else enjoying summertime. Good that my camera has a zoom. I hope that the deer hadn't placed its fawn in the rapefield.
Gosh, I guess this guy has nice temperatures up there in the sky. But now, I'd like to show you a special visitor, we had this afternoon:
Suddenly Noah was very interested in what was going out behind the fence. And now I know why: the youngsters of family marten have left the nest.
And aaaactioooon! Those little whirlwinds are not to stop and they even hadn't been shy at all.
I was able to come it very close, about two arm lenghts. But then I had to take Noah into the house, because I didn't want (for the safety of them both) them to have a Greet and Meet :o). The teeth of them both are to sharp and I'd like to keep the peace in the Gwundergarten.
"Ach komm schon, Noah, lass den Kopf nicht hängen... it's summertime and livin is easy... öhm, das gilt für alle, auch für den Marder."
"Argh, I'm not allowed to do anything here ... that isn't funny, really!"
"Oh come on, Noah, don't be offended ... it's summertime and livin is easy ... ehm, for everybody."
In diesem Sinne, geniesst die Zeit! / In this sense, have a great time!
