Only yesterday I heard about the financial problems of the Tierlignadenhof, who desperately needs help. So they started a fundraising. You can read more about it and how it came so far here.
If you can help, then please don't wait until Christmas, they need the money now.
"Engel in Gummistiefel".
Two years ago, the Tierlignadenhof helped me when I was desperately looking for a place for this little fellow here. He was then only four years old and was rescued and kept in an animal shelter. But they tried and failed to find him a new home. They wanted to euthanize him, because he used to bite (but who wouldn't after being kept in darkness and being beaten?). However, I asked the Tierlignadenhof for help and they didn't hesitate a second but took this little fellow in their care, they even payed for the castration when the animal shelter didn't want to do so. This very dangerous pet *LoL* was immediately adopted by the Trustees President of the Tierlignadenhof and sleeps now in her bed with cats. During the day the dog is often together with the other animals on the Tierlignadenhof. They had to pay a lot of vet costs for him, because he was sick, which the vet from the animal shelter seems to have overseen. Sorry, I'm just getting angry again, but this post isn't about this dog, who finally found a Happy End, no it's just to show you, that this Tierlignadenhof deserves our help so that they can carry on rescueing pets and animals who are in need.
Danke für Eure Hilfe!
What else happend in the Gwundergarten during the last days? Oh yes, fall has arrived.
It's not only because the aster has started to bloom (or the sedums and hydrangeas) but of the spider webs, which seem to hang around everywhere, especially in the middle of the way I'd like to walk through. Lately I nearly walked into a big spider web in which a fat garden spider sat... uuuuaaahrg. I guess, if I hadn't stopped in time, I would have woken up all neighborhood with my scream. Yes, I'm terrible afraid of them. I'm a girl so I'm allowed to be.
Must have been a spider on ecstasy.
Hehe... maybe my hubby put some drops into my tea too, because how else could I explain, that I started to edging our forest path. Where is the chaotic Mrs Gwundergarten? How strange is that?!
I found out that slugs won't read... who would have thought that.
Just before my blue Meconopsis could start to bloom, a silly slug has gnawed its stem *grmpf*!
Elke, da guckst Du, Deine Kleine läuft zur Höchstform auf. Ich bin hin und weg von Deinem Röschen Multiflora.
Elke, just look how lovely your rose multiflora is at the moment. I love it.
This treasure my hubby and I found while we were cutting our hedge. I don't know, how it got into our shrubs, it isn't from us. However, I like it and I will give it a new color. In winter I'm going to hang a food ball for birds on it. I love such unexpected treasures.
Talking about treasure: This little treasure box was once an ordinary brown box, which was filled with delicious little things from a bakery. It got a new face with some color, some lace border and sticky paper.
That's how the inside looks.
My grey and white soap has finally got the name "Männersache" (men stuff) and will soon be available in my little shop.
The soap Wiesenfrisch contains narrowleaf plantain, which gave the soap that special color.
But fall is not only the time for Tatütä (little bag for hankies). No...
... it's the time of candlelight. And what do you need to light a candle?
Matches. But ups... sorry, we may have now fall but for Xmas it is really a little bit early. Let's wait another week.
Yes, those match boxes fit better to the season. It's fun to decorate them and with the new sticky fabrics it is very easy to do so.
So, das war nun mal wieder reichlich viel für einen Post. Danke für's Durchhalten :o). Habt ein gemütliches Wochenende.
That was quite a lot of stuff for only one post... sorry about it and thanks for keep reading. Take care and have a cozy weekend.
