Yesterday I tried to do pottery and I had a good teacher: Mrs Chacheli-Macheri.
Hehe, this is because those hands don't belong to me but to Mrs Chacheli-Macheri and she really knows what she's doing... well, most of the time, as you will see later on.
This will become a wonderful little vase, would you agree with me?
I guess, this really can only be done by a real potter: destroy her own work only to show how evenly it was rotated. LoL, I would have believed her even without proof. Poor little vase.
Those are my pieces of pottery art (cough) . I'm not sure the world is ready for this kind of art, but my garden has to be.
I had to roll little sausages to make the feet for my own creation of soap dishes. Well, they could be a little bit more evenly, but Mrs Chacheli meant, that I'm only lacking of experience. Hmm... not sure of that. I guess one needs a bit more than that: a bit of talent is needed as well and that is something I'm not rewarded with. I had a wonderful day in the pottery but learned one thing: A cobbler should stick to his last.
The storks looked down on me from the roof of Mrs Chachelis neighbors: "You could do better, girl." - "Yes, I know! Don't be such a wiseacre!"
This we have earned: a break with a lovely surprise. I didn't expect to see Ida, who really knows how to do pottery as well. How great was that?! To chat, to have some prosecco, some self made bread, a delicious dessert, some coffee and tea... I felt like in heaven. I really could get used to that. Thank you so much girls!
Okay, nature does it better than me. Anyway, I'd like to give many thanks to Mrs Chacheli-Macheri. It was like always just a wonderful day and so much fun! I admire your talent (and your patience) and I now understand much better what you are doing in your pottery.
Back to my garden. As you can see, only the very brave one dare to put their heads out.
For those, who asked me last week, whether we still have got snow. The photo is from today's morning... I guess, there is no need to lose anymore words.
Yes, snuggle together that will make you stay warm.
It works as well alone.
Hmm... cat or vampire... I'm not so sure.
And to finish this very long post, I take you into the crafts room. I made two new soaps. This one here is called summer and I used a fragrance that is called "Mango-Vanille". It remembers me on icecream on a hot summer day.
This soap was an accident: it became from one second to the other so stiff in the bowl, that I had real problems to get it into the mold. However, I managed it somehow at the end. I didn't have any hope that this soap was to be saved, but look at it now. It reminds me somehow on a wave and so I gonna call it "Blue Wave". It is fragranced with a masculine perfume oil called "Into the light".
So und nu muss ich noch ein paar Dinge für den Markt im Mai fertig werkeln. Habt einen gemütlichen Sonntag und eine gute Woche!
Lately I found a lovely pattern for a crochet baby shoe. Of course I was so eager to crochet it, that I forgot to check whether I have enough yarn of this color. Guess what? Yes, you know me quite well, meanwhile: I didn't have enough yarn and so this little shoe has to wait until I'll find another yarn to finish the second shoe.
That's it for the moment, I have to finish some other things for the market in May. I wish you all a cozy Sunday and a lovely week!
En liebe Gruess / Take care
