Lately I got this beautiful little booklet from a friend. It is about recipes for Tea Times. Of course I had to give the scones a try.
The ingredients were mixed quickly: flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, yogurt and butter. Mix it, knead it, roll it and cut out round shapes.
Then put them into the oven.
While the scones get some color in the oven, let's take the camera and have a look what the snowdrops were up to. Poor them, they must have had a freezing cold night.
Those were a bit cleverer, they found a sheltered place.
Spring snowflake... they are quite early. Usually they appear in March.
Also I spotted the first wood garlic.
No, this isn't a snail competing for Switzerland's next top snail-model. Some years ago I painted the empty shell with a silver color. Since then it stayed in the garden and I'm always stunned that it hasn't broken yet.
Now the scones are finished. They became a bit small but ...
...mmmh... they are delicious.
Frau Chacheli Macheri. Süss nicht und perfekt für eine Tea Time.
Mrs Chacheli Macheri. Aren't they just sweet and perfekt for a tea time?
My hubby got this funny book (Title: How Man becomes a Hero) as a birthday gift. Kindly he shared it with the other tough guy in our home: tomcat Noah. However, what he actually thinks about it, is well written in his face.
"Kann nie schaden, Noah. Ich meine, da draussen laufen ein paar süsse Mietzen herum, die mal in Not geraten könnten."
"Do you really believe I need this?"
"Can't do any harm, Noah. I mean, there are quite sweet cats out there and maybe one of them needs one day the help of a cat hero."
Okay, the chapter "How to get a cat from the tree" made him quite laughing. He said, that he would get his sweetheart down from any tree without this book and then he walked off slightly offended. How could we ever think, that he isn't already a real hero? Tse.
Ursula gestrickt.
Off topic again: baby shoes. I had a little bit Baby Merino wool left over and so I tried to knit some baby shoes after the very good instructions from Ursula. She even made photos and sent them by email to me, so that an absolut knitting novice like me, did understand it. Thank you very much, indeed. Well, I still need some practice, they are not very evenly knitted.
But I'm just gonna use them to make photos for Baby Greeting cards and for that, they are good enough.
So, das war's für heute. Ich wünsche Euch allen ein gemütliches Wochenende.
That's it, I wish you all a cozy weekend. Take care.
En liebe Gruess
