Before we go on the joyful sunday walk, I show you, what's going on in our home: renovation blues... Yes, I've got the blues even before the work started... I do not really enjoy renovation work, do be honest, but I appreciate it, when it is all done and looks lovely afterwards :o)
The walls downstairs were inoculated so that we get rid of the dampness. Soon the walls get stripped off this distasteful wallpaper and get a new plaster.
In the garage we had to empty the old cabinets before we disassembled them from the wall. It was not only heartblood we left there, but real one... from my hubby. But don't worry, I could stop it with a little sticking plaster.
Even my little shop had to be emptied. It will be freshly painted and gets a new floor. Can't wait to see it finished.
The kiwis that are sweating on the dehydrator, are for those guys:
Kiwis (as well as pineapple) help to get rid off the hair that got into the digestive tract of the bunnies. They both love the kiwis and get each one slice of dry kiwi per day.
So, now that work is done, let's go on the Sunday Walk with Noah. Noah! Noah? Oh dear, he is already in hunting mood again. Grmpf, I really do have to cut the grass, so that the birds can make him out.
Last tuesday the VET should have cleaned Noah's teeth... yes, you read correctly should. When we arrived the doc recognized that Noah had fever and a sore throat, so no anesthesia was possible and I had to take him home again. No wonder, when he spends nearly the whole day in the wet and cold grass, but would he listen to me? Of course not: he's a man.
Oh dear, I thought those tulips were purple and not RED! I do not plant red things in my garden, never ever. What devil has come over me, when I did it anyway? All the other tulips in rose and purple, that I have planted there, have vanished... of course.
That's a good boy, always stay on the path...
...oh nooooooo! Epimedium, Hosta, please, do move your head down. :o)
Only two of the Fritillaria meleagris have survived. That was my own fault, to be honest with you. I saw the slim stalks of them and thought by myself: "Ghosh, where does this gras come from." Then I tore it out. Yes I know, nobody is safe from his own stupidity.
Always amazing to watch: the roll-out of fronds.
The Phyllitis scolopendrium does it in a lovely almost secret way.
Yes, today those places stay empty.
Noah and his favorite climbing tree: an old hazelnut.
I love the view into the wood, when the trees get their freshly green clothes.
Oh and since the pond is wiped out, tomcat and Salamander can work on their relationship again.
"Morning, Mr Salamander."
In Rome, Venice or Paris you may have to follow the umbrella for not losing your Tourist group. In my garden you can just follow... ehm, yes, the cat's tail.
Let's go on to the wild tulips. It won't last long till they open their colored flowers. I'm very excited and curious how they gonna look between the wild garlic, Helleborus, fern and hostas.
And with a last bouquet of tulips Noah and I wish you a joyful Sunday.
