Yes! This letter of complaint is addressed to the highest position... as you can see in Noahs face. If you have a faint heart, please skip the next photos and have a glass of Whisky instead... I join you in a second.
Some days ago my Hostas looked like this. And the world was full of sunshine for me.
Then there was yesterday evening and a very heavy storm... with hail.
Danach dieselbe Hosta noch mal.
This is the very same Hosta.
Grmpf.
If I had wanted minced meat, I would have gone to the butcher :o(
The roses on the terrace suffered as well.
Selbst mein Waldgärtchen wurde geschreddert.
Even my little wood garden was shredded.
Nope, that's not snow... unfortunately (I wouldn't have thought that I once would prefer snow)
But as heartbreaking as it was, the storm left a beautiful scenery behind our garden. There was a bit of fog over the meadow and it just looked like in a fairy tale. But the hail was the wicked witch.
When the storm arrived I was in panic because Noah was still out there and I couldn't find him. But as soon as the storm was over he turned up again: safe and dry. Wherever he had been. The bunnies were safe as well, only the garden has suffered. But I guess it all will grow again. So squint the bottocks, heads up, secateurs ready and start new with thought "it will be all fine again".
Now my letter of complaint: Dear weather god, it might be, that you have let the apprentice do the weather last Friday evening. But please, could you have a closer eye to him/her the next time? A hail storm in May or June is absolutely devastating. However, I ask now for redress: The next weeks till fall shall be beautiful sunny weather, with a soft rain shower every night. And please not over 25 degree. Nope, that's all I wish for. Thank you very much.
Take care /Häbet en guete Sunntig
