I found it.
"Die Rede ist nicht von Dir, Schiefschnütchen... ich meine den Frühling."
"Jäh so... deswegen musst Du aber nicht so rumhüpfen und gar noch singen... schliesslich brauche ich meinen Schönheitsschlaf."
"I haven't been hiding."
"No, I'm not talking about you, Noah. I'm talking about spring time."
"Ohhh, well, okay... then no reason to sing and dance. Don't make so much noise and let me have another nap."
Ha! Aren't we lucky devils? A little bit lower and we would be right in the middle of that soup of mist.
I confess, that I just bought those Helleborus in the garden center.
I went into the garden centre with the intention to buy no more Helleborus... but to be honest... I really had no chance. I mean, look at those beauties! How could I have resisted? Especially regarding, that my own Helleborus in the garden aren't in flower yet.
But in my own garden there is also a hint of spring to be seen. Snowdrops and winter aconite just fight their way up to the light.
"Haben Sie den Frühling gesehen?"
"Äh ja, da hinten rechts."
"Have you seen spring?"
"Eh... oh yes, just turn right and there it is."
Oh dear, seems to be cold, that they are cuddling so tight together.
Hurra, the pink colored pennywort has survived. I'm looking forward to its blossom.
And I can't wait to see the flowers of the Epimedium.
By the way, this is not just a heap of rotten fern. Oh no, my dear, this is so much more. It's a bed... okay, it doesn't look very comfortable, but a hedgehog has built a little cave with soil and moss and other stuff and I just covered it with some fern to keep him a little bit warmer. And now he is having his hibernation beneath it.
I love it, when mother nature is overpainting the brown soil with some color. And it always feels like a little miracle, don't you think so?
Last year I made an experiment by mulching with moss. And that's what my shadow garden looks like during winter. I love it, but I know, that not everyone is keen on moss.
My "Silverback" *LoL*.
And our medical miracle bunny "Emma". She should have a Rollator... it's really hard to watch her hopping around. But she is still full of life: she eats, annoys her mate Gandalf, cleans herself and is very annoyed, when I take here every morning with me, to give her the medicine she needs to have a painless day. She finds it rather disturbing that I put her every day on a scales to control her weight. She claims, that she isn't asking me about my weight, so why should she tell me hers. Okay, Emma, you really better don't ask about my weight... we won't risk a stroke.
If you are wondering about his lovely long fur around the head, then let me tell you, that he probably has a bit of a Lionhead Rabbit blood in his veins. It seems that he is rather a special mixture... from everything only the best... except when it comes to his manners. :o)
White vest and clean paws... that's my girl.
Talking about white vest: That's what a chaotic girl like me looks like, in the trousers of GardenGirl, after only one day of free style gardening. But I love them, very comfortable and so many pockets to put things in it... may I wear them at night as well? Maybe after they have had a meeting with the wasching machine...
Habt alle ein schönes Wochenende, ob im Schnee oder im Frühling.
Have a nice weekend... in snow or in spring time.
