Blau / Blue
It seems as if Mrs Gwundergarten has reached her blue phase. This lovely bowl with pitcher I found in a secondhand shop. Of course I had to take it with me even when I haven't any place to put it. Beside this item I bought some other dishes for screwing more Etageres together. You know, I've finally got holidays *hurra* and thanks to the bad weather, I have now the time for screwing and other things to tinker. I decided to make creative holidays instead of active holidays.
Linth-Lady habe ich tolle gestrickte Abwaschlappen entdeckt und war völlig hin und weg von der Idee. Es macht wirklich Spass, diese Teile zu stricken und sie haben sich im Einsatz tatsächlich bewährt. Ich sage nur: Back to the Roots, ladies.
In the blog of my friend Linth-Lady I found those wonderful knitted dishcloth. What a great idea and it is real fun to knit them (they are quickly finished *LoL*). They do not only look nicer then the one you can by in the stores they are even as good in use. I can only recommend them and say: Ladies, let's go back to the roots.
I always wanted to make a Wrist Wrap by myself. It was fun but also hard work to tie every bead on that wrap. And of course I had to learn again that every beginning is hard. Even when I like this wrap...
...it is unfortunately to small for my wrist. But luckily I've got a lovely godchild whose wrist isn't as big as mine. I hope she's gone like it.
Shöppli zu kaufen und heisst Lavender Wood (ich hätte sie wohl eher die unendliche Geschichte taufen sollen).
Even my new soap is blue... finally. I had to try more than once to reach this color for my soap. The first soap became yellow, then green and grey until I tried it with Indigo. That worked finally. The soap is called Lavender Wood... even when "Never ending story" would better fit.
Okay, this wreath isn't blue, but I like it anyway. I saw so many beautiful and gorgeous wreath on your blogs that I just have to give it a try again. And huuu, I'm getting better... you should have seen my wreath from the last years (or better not)... they looked more like abstract art and you really needed a lot of imagination to see a wreath in it.
So if you've got bad weather in your part of the world, don't worry about it and use the time to tinker. Humans are not made for having wet feet... else we would have received webbed, won't we?!
