Well, I could have named this post "The Art of Relaxing" too, but let's start at the begin.
Dunvegan Castle.
Today I take you on the Isle of Skye to the Castle of Dunvegan. Else I wasn't much excited about the Isle of Skye, I expected it much greener... well, maybe the grey at the sky didn't help to let the island shine, but at least it didn't rain.
That's what I call an entry.
Unfortunately it wasn't allowed to make photos in the castle... so you have to visit it by yourself :o).
This littel Robin toled me, that the castle has something else, we really should see. Yesss, their were boat trips to the mermaids possible. Of course, we didn't want to miss that.
So we quickly walked down to the little boathouse beneath the castle, took the life jackets and off we went.
Ehm, you're sure that there should be Mermaids?
Oh, yesss... here they are. Well, okay, they are a little bit tubby mermaids... and maybe not all were maids... but you won't be picky when I call them mermaids, will you? They just look like that, when they swim in the sea.
Well, they seem to look a bit sceptical, while we drove by in those little motorboat vor 6 - 7 people. But somehow...
... it seemed as if we were a funny entertaining TV program for them. Yes... you may just laugh at me, sweet seal.
But if we can learn something from those seal, then it is how to relax. They seem to be able to have a nap in every position of life.
Ob auf dem Rücken...
On the back...
...in der Seitenlage...
...oder grad wo man hinfällt...
... or just where you drop...
...in einer Fangopackung...
... in a thalassotherapy...
... ganz egal, hauptsache kein Stress... gääääähn.
... never mind, but without any stress of course....yawwwwn.
They practice this already when they are small. This little guy is not even a year old.
No wonder, they have all a big grin in the face.
Much to early we had to say goodbye to them. Yes, don't look so sad, I really didn't want to leave. That visit just made my day... well, I better say my week or my hole year. They are really very cute.
And this is the view the seals can enjoy daily. Not bad, isn't it?
It was rather cold on the boat, so we hurried up through the gardens into the tea room, to warm us up. I love those egg sandwiches and scones... yummi... I could live in UK forever. Oh, well, you'd like to see the gardens? Okay, and this one was really goregous.
Those white Lilies infront of the blue pinecones was lovely combined.
Oh yes, such a feature we would love in our garden too.
But now, I just let you enjoy the garden without talking between.
This garden is just awesome, don't you think so? Those gardeners really know what they were doing (not like me *LoL*) .
"We seem no longer to be of interest. Let's go then."
I do it just like the otters and wish you all a lovely rest of the week.
