Don't worry, I won't hit at the heartstrings but I like to introduce you some more lovely fellows from the animal shelter, who are longing for a worm and happy home.
Above all, Emil, who I've shown you before last December. This elderly cat hasn't found his luck yet and of course I just had to say hello to him during my last visit at the shelter. He has crept into my heart on silent paws. The photo above is from last December...
... and this one from last Wednesday. I think he has made himself great, don't you think so? And even when the staff from the shelter look very good after him, he's longing for his own human beings and for his own garden to explore.
Little Anita is longing for someone, who throws tirelessly balls for her. She runs like a maniac behind the toys and her ears are flying in the wind. Oh by the way, she wuffs in Italian and accepts only such commandos.
LoL, this rascal! His got eyes like Puss in Boots from Shrek. If you've seen that movie, you know what I'm talking about. Well, one could believe he's the poorest cat in the world, but to be honest, cats like Chester won't stay long in the shelter. He's so cute and cuddling, people will rush to him. By the way, he's happy with staying only in the house.
Felix would also be very happy to be cuddled for hours.
Those two are longing for a big aviary so that they can spread their wings and fly.
Joe looks a bit shocked and disappointed, because I was kidding him. It's indeed a bit mean to do as if one was throwing treats through the air so that this little doggy was running behind the imaginary treats. Sorry, sweetie, but you were always so close beside me, that I wasn't able to make a proper photo from you. And we needed really one for finding a new home for you, so I had to use this little trick (which worked perfect for many times). But I'm not really a bad person so he became his treats after the photo session. Joe is really a dear one and very close to humans... well maybe it was just because my food bag smelled so nicely .o).
Kim's desire doesn't belong to treats... well, she takes them too, of course, but she's more longing for humans, who are caressing her. Well, she embraced me immediately when I went into the cage, that means she needs a bit of education if you don't want to be decorated by her during bad weather. But her heart was so longing for love, that she just had to embrace someone and when it was the photographer... she's not picky.
Easy speaks Italien and is a happy sock too. She's a bit careful dealing with foreing people (like me), but at least she came close to sniff curiously.
Die anmutige Kalina und ihr Kumpel...
Graceful Kalina and her mate...
...Kittin come from Bulgaria. They are both cuddly and playful. Especially Kittin can't get enough from cuddling. They want to stay together.
This Armani Rat, as a dear colleague of mine uses to call the Chihuahua dogs, is called Lisa. She wasn't very happy, when I took her out into the bad weather but of course I didn't put her precious little feet into the mud. Of course I looked for a sheltered place for Lisa. You know, by this kind of dog I'm always a bit afraid that when a gust of wind would come up... well, we don't get to far with our imagination now, won't we.
Mausi is not only longing for a reasonable name, no she wishes a place where she can relax. She is from the Jura and seems to be a bit wild and a lot scared. I guess this poor little cat would be happy at a farmhouse where she could hunt mice and live happily and quiet. She has a mate in the shelter but it was just at the vet while we were making photos.
Kiro too, wanted to get out of sight, when I came in with this black magic box. But he's not that shy as he tried to make us believe. He even let me caress him.
You need a bit of patient, when you'd like to caress Pipo. He's still shy but was brave enough to stay at least 1 Meter away from me and sniff around. Maybe he was only a bit ashamed of his dirty fur, but well in this muddy weather and with two friends playing around with him, who could keep clean a white fur?!
Talking about shy dogs, I have to introduce you to Shana. The dog with the curls and the sad look. I couldn't help asking myself, what this dog had gone through to become that fearful. I hope for her, that the right people and maybe a fellow dog can help her to loose her fear and to enjoy life again.
This sweetie is called Sina and no, she really won't go with that rope to the nearest tree to finish her life... nooooo, she's much to happy. She loves people, being cuddled and cared about. She loves playing around with other dogs and sniffing everywhere like a real Jack Russel.
Well isn't that a picture of a dog?! She's called Ogya and a real dream-dog. I have to confess that she really tore me out of the shelter and I was nearly flying at the rope behind her but after the first peeing she got calmed down. She knows the important commandos... well, especially when one is holding a treat in front of her.
But look at her, isn't she just great? If I had time, no cat and a completely different way of life I would have let Ogya tear me home behind her. What I wanted to say a long time ago: when I'm writing here about the animals then it is only my point of view. I'm not an expert (you sure have found this out by yourself) and I only write, how the animal behave with me.
Some of you have asked what happened to the pets I've shown before. Well if you are interested what happened to the dogs, click here if you are interested what happened to the cats, click here.
About my own longings, I'm goint to tell you next time. I wish you all now a wonderful weekend with or without your fury friends.
Häbet Sorg / Take care

Markus
