Teppich oder Decke? / Carpet or blanket?
I know, you all know meanwhile that most of the time it ends in a joke when Mrs Gwundergarten grabs her knitting needles. However, I still want to show you my just finished plaid, for which I needed not only 3,5 month to finish it, but also a lot of wool and nerves because I had to undo it many times.
No, I cannot fly with it but when I wore it in the office yesterday, some of my mates said: "Did you take your blanket from home?" or "Is that a carpet?" What peasant! *LoL* Hehe, I know they are right and I wouldn't win a beauty competition with it (well, as if I would otherwise...) but at least it is warm and wonderful snugly.
And I can even wear it, what I can't always say about my knitted things.
And if I don't like it anymore, I could even use it as a carpet. But please don't look too close because the border was hell to knit. And don't ask how many time I had to undo it. If I had to undo it only one more time, I couldn't have guaranted that plaid and knitting needles would have survived this. When I wear it, you can hardly see those ruffles.
But who cares about knitted things when spring is waiting outside. The bathing season seems to have opened again. The little tit found the temperature a little bit too cold and didn't jump into the pool.
Did every ginger cat around here read that?! ("Pfoten weg" means "Paws off".)
I don't care. I have an acute attack of spring fatigue.
Dear Mrs Tit, we don't like to be petty but you better enjoy the sight of this basket from the other side.
Every day my hubby and I are looking out for our little Hobble, it's the chaffinch with the broken leg. And he appears several time during the day at the feeding place. I'm a bit afraid, that he won't manage it, when I stop feeding. What do you think? I'm a bit worried... well, I'm very good in being worried when it comes along with animals. :o)
It's spring and I could dance through my garden... but I better don't do that because else I trample on those beauties here.
Caro, this one is for you so that you won't get a yellow depression *smile*.
Most of the helleborus orientalis are in flower now.
That I planted different kinds of them during the last years, had an effect in my garden. With help from the busy bees this helleborus did grow as a baby from...
... this one, I guess. Or at least it may have been one part of the parents.
After cutting at least half of all my roses, my back thinks it is time that I pick him up from the garden into a hot bath. So that's why I have to go now to see whether I can find it somewhere out there. Have a joyful and sunny spring weekend.
En liebe Gruess / Take care
